Backcountry Connections

Backcountry Connections is a little bit of everything. From a community resource center, shop and office, the space offers something for everyone. Located at 2007 Main Street in suite B, Backcountry Connections is the home to Backcountry Communities Thriving, Julian Fire Safe Council and The Julian Voice. The shop area contains clothes, jewelry, home decor and household goods. To highlight the local talents, there are a number of handmade items available on consignment from local artisans and crafters. At Backcountry Connections, community members have access to a computer and printer and a selection of brochures and pamphlets for services and resources available throughout the county. The free food pantry is stocked often and is available for everyone. Have a question about wildfire safety? Here, residents can receive much needed information from the Julian Fire Safe Council. The community publication, The Julian Voice, is printed in this location as well. With so much to see and offer, don't miss out on the opportunity to stop in Backcountry Connections. We're normally open Monday through Friday 9:30 am to 4:30 pm and Saturdays 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. We hope to see you soon!
